Welcome to “mate dates”, a series of get togethers for amazing humans who want to meet kind, likeminded people and discuss a common interest. March’s theme is business, but with a particular focus on confidence and imposter syndrome. Forget everything you know about dusty networking sessions over a bad glass of white wine, Haystack does things a little differently…
I’ve been lucky to speak to SO many incredible humans throughout my career and lack of confidence as a barrier to both entry and progression in entrepreneurship is a raging problem for so many people which needs to stop.
I’ve built a session, I’ve assembled some experts and we’ll be cracking through some exercises as a group, helping problem solve and meeting a bunch of great new people from a range of backgrounds.
This event is absolutely not founder only, it’s for anyone freelance/self employed, running a business/hoping to run a business one day, employed in a company in any capacity, navigating a career change, feeling a little lost or just wanting to come meet some amazing people and leave a little more confident, absolutely everyone is welcome.
It’s between two venues based on demand but both are in London, fully wheelchair accessible and close to a tube and or train line and will be emailed over to you asap.
95% of people so far have come alone, were nervous when they arrived and made friends within about 12 seconds, so please never worry about coming solo!
